Twin Cities CIO Forum Overview

Vision and Definition Statement

To foster excellence in information technology in a CIO-friendly environment that provides a venue for education, networking and collaboration where members can share information freely and exchange experiences in peer-to-peer discussions.

A CIO Friendly Meeting Place

The Twin Cities CIO Forum aims to serve the following populations:

  • Executives responsible for information technology and/or the infusion of technology into products and services.
  • Generally by Title the Forum members will be Chief Information Officers (CIO’s) or have equivalent responsibilities within their respective organizations.
  • Company size represented in the Forum shall be companies with gross revenue of no less than $500,000,000.

The Twin Cities CIO Forum provides an intimate but diversified meeting place where CIO's are comfortable to network and have in-depth candid discussions with peers. How do we accomplish this?

  • All meetings are by invitation only (accepted Members only).
  • All regularly scheduled meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month from September through May – 7:30am to 9:00am. Sites to be announced.
  • There is only one type of membership – CIO Practitioner. Vendors of technology will not be allowed membership or participation in meetings.
  • The aim of providing a forum for CIO's to meet and be able to discuss and learn in an environment of their liking does not allow for marketing activities, vendor solicitations and/or recruiting efforts at its functions.
